So, I am a bit ahead in Novembers book (about halfway done). I’d love to chat with others who are further into it as well.

First off, I never thought about what it must have been like for a survivor on the Titanic once they reached New York. Everything primarily focuses on the event itself but the days and months that followed are so interesting. Reading Charlotte’s thoughts, it pulled me into what it must’ve felt like.

Also, I love the speed of this book and the different perspectives of the same event(s).

    What about you?

I loved this book! I love historical fiction to start with but you make a good point Amy – most of the stories regarding the Titanic cover the event and not afterward. 1500 people died on the Titanic… isn’t that terrible. So much loss of life.

I’m only 80 pages in, but, although I’m trying not to make connections to the movie, I see Charlotte as Jack (scrappy), Esme as Rose (settling) ….
