Jeannette Walls was my favourite character. I loved reading about her interesting past and there are parts of her experience I found relatable.

MY favourite character is Rex. his complexity leaves me wanting to understand more so that I can empathize with the kids better.

To be honest, I read this book about 10 years ago and don’t remember it all that well. What I do remember is feeling very attached to Jeannette’s brother Brian, as I could relate to their relationship having a younger brother myself. I would say he was my favourite character! Would love a chance to see the movie 🙂 email address is Thanks!

My favourite character is Jeannette’s older sister Lori, because I think she provided the most oversight, guidance and best example for Jeannette growing up.
Also, shouting out her grandmother, because if you’ve read Half Broke Horses you realise she lead quite the life!

Brie Larson !!!

My favourite character is Lori, Jeannette’s older sister. She knew what she wanted and worked so hard to achieve that. A real role model for Jeanette to inspire her. Loved the book. Can’t wait to see the movie.

The Glass Castle is my all-time favourite book!! I always recommend it because I think it has something for everyone to relate to or be inspired by! My favourite character is Jeannette but I may be biased because of her eloquent and emotional writing style.

In the end Jeanette was my favourite character. I loved how Jeanette understood that if she became bitter about her childhood, the end result would have been that her own life would have been diminished no matter how successful she later became. Plus I have an appreciation for her name!

Jeanette was my favourite character. Her story is inspiring, and I admire her wisdom in not holding on to anger or allowing herself to be bitter about her past.

I loved this book. Jeanette was definately my favourite character. She seems to have left her past behind but she really hasn’t changes as much as she thought she had. I love how she finds peace with her mother and accepts her for who she is. All the books she has written are wonderful. I’ve enjoyed every single one. The way she writes makes you almost feel you are there. She is a beautiful writer with such interesting stories to tell.

Jeannette would be my favourite. As I was reading I kept thinking wow, this is creative. Only to get back to reality, THIS IS TRUE! I found myself getting very frustrated with her parents over and over again and at the same time admired her strength and perseverance. To always look forward is a quality I highly admire.
